Where we train

Inside a community centre, not a retail park

Daimler Green Community Recreation Centre is a genuine local hub run by Sikh Union Coventry. Sports hall, function rooms, a community bar, floodlit pitches and a play area, all on one site.

  • A proper community centre

We train inside Daimler Green Community Recreation Centre, a genuine community hub run by Sikh Union Coventry, with a sports hall, function rooms and a calendar of local activity that runs all week.

  • Community bar

There is a bar on site, so parents can sit down with a drink while the juniors train, and the club has somewhere to gather after a show or a squad night.

  • Floodlit 3G and grass pitches

The centre has a full size floodlit 3G pitch available in halves or full, plus grass pitches hosting 8v8 and 11v11. Football, hockey and more share the site with us.

  • Children's play area and green space

An outdoor play area and open green sit right beside the building, which makes the school run to training considerably easier on everyone.

  • Free parking, changing rooms, step free entry

Free on site parking, changing rooms and toilets, and a level entrance. No city centre one way system and no parking meters.

  • Shops and the Arena a few minutes away

Arena Shopping Park and the Coventry Building Society Arena are a short drive north, with local shops closer still and Junction 3 of the M6 about a mile from the door.

48 Highley Drive, Daimler Green, Radford, Coventry CV6 3LR. Free parking on site.

Why it works

What boxing gives back

The fitness is the obvious part. The confidence, the focus and the people are what keep members coming back after the first month.

01

Confidence through effort

Nothing here is handed out. Confidence at Fight Academy is the by-product of turning up and doing the work, which is why it lasts.

02

Body and mind

Boxing is as good for your head as it is for your heart rate. Focus, stress relief and a place to put a bad day are part of the offer.

03

Respect and discipline

Gloves touch before and after. Coaches are listened to. Everyone in the room gets the same respect regardless of how long they have been coming.

04

A team, not a membership

People notice when you miss a week. That accountability is the reason our members stick with it long after the January crowd has thinned out.

04

Who coaches you

Founded by fighters, run for the community

Our coaching team is DBS checked and first aid trained, and every junior session is safeguarded.
